What kind of music is it that this tour plays?

We have some friends there who are hunting hard for shows.
The type of music is all umbrella-ed under "drone" for us. Drone is just any music that is slow and focused and repetitive. It's all about creating ambiance and sounds that are unfamiliar. Most all of us in our community practice a drone that is warm and inviting and emotional, so everyone is really nice. I promise it'll be nothing like any other music you've ever heard. Some examples are Brian Eno, Emeralds, CJ Boyd, Andrew Weathers
Hey pm me and we can meet up as I am in Philly and would like to play some games.

Sweet. We're playing at the Random Tea House, do you know where that is?
You're going to be by me on the 4th. Unfortunately I'll be at school most of the day (automotive technical school). Good luck, Brooklyn crowds are great
pfft no TX..
Why you hatin on flo-rida
Where in upstate?
Sorry guys, we gotta go in some direction!
And that "upstate" thing just means it's still being figured out. It'll probably end up being a day off for us.
Wait, by "drone" do you mean you play music like Sunn O)))?
This piques my interest. Are you on last.fm? What is the name of your "band". I'll go to one of your Canadian shows if you decide you don't want to show up in the Detroit area, The Shelter is a smallish venue you may be interested in. Also, do you like Merzbow?
I love Sunn O))) and Merzbow! Those are perfect. I make music that's a bit more intimate and less daunting than them, but pretty similar.
And my last.fm page can be found if you just search Arte Povera.
Listening to The Treachery of Images now. Also our compatibility is HIGH.
