Title: Regenerating sacrificed creatures?

Just want to know: can you regenerate a creature as its sacrificed, or does that not count as a lethal damage/destroy effect?

You can't regenerate a sacrificed creature, Regeneration cancels a creature getting destroyed (destroyed from combat or effect), sacrificing is not destroying it.

Ok cool. Wasn't sure what sacrificing really counted as.
