For standard competitive play, do you main board {Pillar of Flame} or {Galvanic Blast}\{Shock}?
And I'm not talking about no artifact decks or nothing. I'm talking straight up value, is instant speed more valuable than exiling the creature? Whatchu think?
I ask this because a lot of people are having this same conversation on this forum.
And legacy players etc., please I've your opinion too. But don't say {Lightning Bolt} rules, cus we know.
The instant/sorcery speed question is one everyone has to answer for themselves, but for me, in the environment we play in now i've switched completely to {Pillar of Flame}. Just too many nasty graveyard and undying and morbid and whatever else shenanigans going on. Get that crap outta here!

Ooo! Good point, because the creature does not technically die! That's nice.
I might also just be smitten since during the prerelease I won the final game by ultimating {Tamiyo, the Moon Sage} and shooting five Pillars in my opponent's face for the victory. ;)
Pillar all the way. Pwns undying, gravecrawler, and any other creature you don't want in their GY like fodder for {moorland haunt} for example.
Pillar. One R idc if its sorcery or not whatever ur targeting isnt gonna come back, effect happen, etc
I'd have to say it depends on your opponent's deck. If you're facing WW or WW (white weenies or werewolves ;D) you're going to want instant speed combat tricks and spells to cast on their turn. If you're facing any sort of reanimation/undying, take the flame.
Sideboard accordingly.
Cool
