Title: Call to the kindred
Post by: panda777 on May 13, 2012, 02:34:40 AM
So I always get confused about the order of the first few steps in a turn (aka: upkeep, untap, draw) so if you use {call to the kindred} to get a creature can you attack with that creature that turn since it was at the beginning of your upkeep or will it have summoning sickness? I guess my concussion is at which step do creatures lose summoning sickness?

The order is Untap, Upkeep, Draw. The creature has to be under your control at the start of your turn (that implies right before the untap step) in order for summoning sickness to wear off, unless the said creature has haste.
