I might be buying a commander deck. Where would i play that? Does FNM have commander games or only tournaments?
Typically, Commander is a casual format, often multiplayer. There aren't a lot of tournaments based on Commander, but who knows. You could always checkout what's happening at locations near you.
If you can get one for a reasonable price, I would recommend the Commander decks, even if you don't play that format. The value of the cards they include are crazy! New art {Sol Ring} is practically worth the price alone.
What is a reasonable price?
That's a good question, but it really depends on where you are, availability, shipping and handling, etc. Look around on the web and see. If you go to the official MtG site to their products page, the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $30, but they typically go for more. You be the judge.
$30.00
That is a lot for a hundred cards. Unless some of them are worth a lot or really good i could get mor cards for less money.

Well, using the power of this app you can see how much it would be to order each card separately. {Sol Ring} is ~$6, {Lightening Greaves} is worth ~$3. One Commander deck comes with a {Garruk Wildspeaker}. Like I said, you be the judge. Is it worth it to you?
Ok thanks

Think yourselves lucky! They're $50 here in Australia ... and yes, they are worth it! Lol
Like I said, it depends on a lot of things.
When they first came out, I spent $150 for a complete set. One of each...in Japanese. I should probably try to resell them now.
Here in Brazil they are around R$100, which means like US$ 55
I can see them being more expensive outside of US. I have to admit, we're pretty lucky here in Canada sometimes.
There about $30 were I'm at but walmart don't got alot of choses
I would recommend Devour for Power - Los of staples in that deck.
