As my "Rot from within" is already non standard, i will use this in FNM. Can you help me improve it?
Thanks
The 4 {Preordain}s are no longer standard. {Ponder} would be a fairly straight forward swap.
I would say if you wanna go with the illusion theme, that having 4 of each of {Lord of the Unreal} {Phantasmal Image} is pretty sweet. Copying the Lord with image gives you a 4/4 hexproof image, as the image would give itself an additional +1/+1.
I've also found that {Delver of Secrets} is pretty awesome and would recommend him, but you'll want a lot of instants/sorceries to transform him. {Ponder} combos nicely with Delver, setting up the flip.
Overall though, you only have to take out the 4 {Preordain}, everything else is just recommendations.
I can vouch for that for {Lord of the Unreal} and {Phantasmal Image}. That combo is real annoying.
I play illusions as well I threw some {Xenograft} in my deck so that lord hex proofs himself

Why not just use {Mask of Avacyn} or {Swiftfoot Boots}? A 5cc enchantment seems like a waste if that's the only reason.
Long way to go for me. I'm getting excited by these changes.
I use xenograft because I had them just sitting around and its useful
If Ur gonna play illusions, don't weaken your deck by adding weird stuff like grand architect. (that is a deck on its own)
I know someone who runs a deck similar to this one and the architects are useful for giving your creatures power and for making it easier to cast steel hellkite
Grand architect is totally playable, but I think what gimpy ninja is trying to say is that you shouldn't mix two good deck functions together, else it may run less well. Grand architect is indeed a deck of it's own, but so are illusions. Combining the two may not result in a pleasant reaction
Well if you're going to remove the architect then remove the hellkite.. The illusions work well with the architect for getting hellkite in by turn 3 or 4.

Yes yes..... I am very aware of the combos of grand architect. I am not undermining the power of grand architect, it's just that I don't think it should be played in an illusion deck
First off, this is one of the Event Decks I would recommend "doubling up" on. If you can get them for 15 dollars then the {{Phantasmal Image}} and the two {{Lord of the Unreal}}s cover the cost of the deck. See CardKingdom for this event deck - they have it for 15 dollars while Phantasmal Image is like $10 or so. If you have enough money to by three more copies of the deck then I would recommend it just for the Images. You can sell off the excess copies of LotU and Grand Architect.
For the deck I would make it focus more on Illusions. You should check out the Illusions Primer on MTGSalvation: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/blog.php?b=6374
