Title: Ravnica lands
Post by: Quackmaster5 on May 09, 2012, 12:01:51 AM
If I were to play {izzet boilerworks}, do I need to have another land in play to play it? Bc I thought since I don't have any other lands, I wouldn't have to return anything.

If there are no other lands in play it targets itself.

It works great for repeatable Landfall too.  Just keep playing and bouncing it.

Oh, I thought since you could only play one land per turn then playing it and having it return to your hand would still count. Learning new things as always! :)

Hm, makes sense...but it wouldn't help much. Playing lands that stay on the board would be much better! But I guess if you only have 1 land out...:0

I save it if I already have enough land on the table so that I can consistently trigger Landfall.
