Besides starcitygames.com , what are some other good websites to get cheap cards from?
I like TCGplayer.com and good ole eBay.
I like coolstuffinc and ebay
I don't like using eBay for cards bc ive had cards "exaggerated" as never played or slightly played. Lmao. But I'll try the other two. Thanks. Anymore suggestions, I am open to all bc I've found starcitygames to be way too expensive on certain cards that I know should be lower prices, let alone getting a playset of those cards.
Whiteliongames is pretty gOod

I've had problems with them in the past.
CoolStuffInc is good, eBay for common/uncommon sets.
eBay is great. I just got {Geralf's Messenger} x4 for $4 each! If you have patience and know what you're doing, there are great deals to be had.
Coolstuffinc I've been dealing with for awhile, so I figured I'd just stick with them.

Really? Huh...I guess I'll find out when I get my cards this time..
Does anyone use trollandtoad.com?
They've become way overpriced recently...
I use manaleak.com :)

I do. And I love em! They may not be the cheapest on certain cards, but they've never failed me. Send extras most times too. Though I will say, they're packaging is weird sometimes. I once ordered 6 cards and a box of dragon sleeves. They packed it in a 1foot cube box full of packing peanuts. It was a little weird. But when they say mint/nm they really mean it! Their random lots aren't bad either. Don't expect chase rares of course but I've gotten some goodies.
ChannelFireball.com
I primarily order online since most LGS in NYC are a bit over MSRP...
I have good experinces with trollandtoad, mostly pick the older set cards and their random lot (cards and supplies).
SCG and CoolStuffInc for Preorder and current set respectively.
eBay for common/uncommon set and the occasional playset rares/mythic.
potomacdist for bulk card sleeves (I seen older set booster box, but very limited).
I've had good experiences with cardkingdom.com. I usually make a card list and shop around though. See which site gives me all the cards I want for the lowest overall price.

Yea I find myself spending hours trying to buy the most amount of cards from the same dealer or just a few. TCGplayer.com has a cart optimizer that works well but that thing can be tricky to use so you gotta be careful........take a screenshot before you do it do you can compare better. Bad thing is there is no undo button for the optimizer even if you page back.......once you goto check out it will bring up the optimized version.
Yeah buy a booster box of DKA and get 3 sorins or buy them for 17$ a piece.
Standard is expensive. A card is in standard for a little over a year? 9 months per block?

If you get an AVR card now, it will be in rotation until the block following Ravnica rotated in. If you got one from Innistrad, it would be ~2years.
K. I was thinking about 3 months per expansion 9 per block then whenever new magic editions come out

Right, but standard includes two blocks.
Only place I have purchased cards is ebay. I always get them for average price because I do BIN. I guess I'm too lazy to bid. :p
If you know how to judge a seller, then you can get cards from ebay that are unplayed/nm/packfresh/whatever. I usually look for the word "unplayed" though.
When buying from ebay check: how long the seller has been on ebay, how much negative and positive feedback he or she has, check the discription. All that stuff.
