Why let {myr batlesphere} there? there are more powerful creatures for 7 cmc. Like that dragon with bloodthirst 6. Also, add a {llanowar elf} or two

Ok. What do you think, black jester?
Well, I don't often comment on decks because: a) I play Casual Vintage Free-for-all Multiplayer, so I generally have a different attitude to deckbuilding.  If you want suggestions on competitive 1v1 decks, seek elsewhere.  b) as a moderator, if I commented on every deck posted, I'd be here all day.

But, since you asked, here's My Opinion:

What do you want this deck to do?  Is it one on one or multiplayer?  Standard or Casual?  If you have a reasonable card base, I'd suggest more "4 ofs" of the important cards that you want to see more often, like "land search" cards and lower cost cards.  With the high casting cost of most of your creatures, you are going to struggle against faster, more aggressive decks, put in some early defense ({Wall of Roots} for example).  27 land is too high, no matter what.  Go down to 24, tops.

Good luck.  Feel free to modify your old posts if you make errors.  Fewer wasteful posts make it easier for people to read.  Thanks.

Myr battlepherevcan be a 8/7
and you need the Myrs still on alive and untapped for it to do anything. Go with M12 dragon Mentonin mentioned.😁

Ty black jester. I think I will add two wall of tangle cord. It seems Like  27 would be ok, because of the high mana costs. I'm a casual player so the deck doesn't have to be amazing or anything.

My flying deck has 30 mana, but I tried it with 24 and I didn't get any of my cards out basicly, so in a brute force deck I thought 27 would turn out to be ok

U dont have to draw mana every turn. U have to produce it with abilities or fetch them from deck

What cards should I use for that?
Title: Re: Brute force
Post by: Queezle on November 14, 2011, 04:26:57 PM
{Primeval Titan} or {Civic Wayfinder} or {Rampant Growth}

I use {llanowar elves}, {rampant growth}, {cultivate} and {kodama's reach}. the titan is awesome, but u already have 6 mana when playing him

What makes the {Primeval Titan} so good is that he can put two non-basic lands onto the battlefield.  {Kessig, Wolf Run}, {Cloudpost}, even {Gaea's Cradle} and {Maze of Ith} into play in the middle of combat.  Granted they are tapped, but {Teetering Peeks} doesn't care.
