I'm not sure but I think stifle stops the vexing devil effect and if it does it makes this deck dirty.

You think 2 cards is worth a vanilla 4/3?  I don't mean to sound pessimistic but I would rather {stifle} their fetch lands or {stoneforge mystic}.  I would also recommend 4 {daze} -1 {grim lavamancer} -2 {ponder} and maybe -1 {vexing devil}.  Just a suggestion but the lower creature count helps flip delver.

I just don't love {vexing devil}, if it gives players the choice, they'll choose what's best for them.

The stifles are there for all the above and stoping storm and marcial cards the fact that it works on the devil is a extra because u use it after they decided to trigger the effect so If they say they will lose the life you know they have no way to deal with him and it's worth the stifle also more daze would hose you on land count and in this format with wastelands and such you can't take the extra turn drops.

{Stifle} doesn't stop {Vexing Devil} from triggering fyi.

if you {Stifle} Sexy Devil, they won't take any damage. {Torpor Orb} works too, and hoses a lot of other cards.

What about {goblin guide}?

I feel gg nets your opponent to much for something that only lasts a turn or two. Don't get me wrong it's a good card but the devil is way better in this type of deck. Also I know that it would stop the damage because it's all part of one effect. Put I'm glad u pointed it out cause some people might have been confused on how I worded it.

They do get a choice, but it's like choosing either to get kicked in the nuts or jabbed in the eye. Neither choice is good (for them), especially for (R).

With {Stifle} they just don't get a choice.  They get stabbed in the eye, end of story.
