Title: Aether Adept
Post by: Rajess on May 07, 2012, 07:45:13 AM
Now, two seemingly retarded questions. Can Aether Adept target creatures in graveyards? Thereby acting as a resurrection machine of sorts? And secondly, if one were to play with four Aether Adepts, does its ability come into play every time another one is put onto the battlefield? Exponentially?

A creature is only a "creature" on the bf.
In the gy its a "creature card".

{Aether Adept}

you can return a aether adept with one however they dont cause the others to trigger. its when that specific aether adept enters the battlefield return a creature to its owner hand

Anytime you see the name of a card in the rules text of the card, it means "this card".  Not "every card named..."  ;)

What about {genesis} in the grave yard and {cursed totem} in play.... I was given a ruling that says the {genesis} couldn't be activated....?

the card rulings for {Cursed Totem} says it doesn't stop creature cards not on the BF.

That's also a triggered ability, not an activated ability.
