Title: Commit // Memory and Cascade
Post by: Thefluffymacheen on May 08, 2017, 07:18:32 PM
So I want to but  {Commit // Memory} in my  {Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder} cascade EDH deck. But before I do so, the new split card rules have me confused.

Specifically, what is the converted mana cost of  {Commit // Memory} when it is in my library, for purposes for cascading into it?

Also a general overview of the rules for split / aftermath cards and cascade would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!

You cannot cast memory from anywhere but gy

Commit is your only valid choice for a cascade effect

So 4cmc

The converted mana cost is 10 on Commit//Memory as of the new rules on split card that went in to effect as of "almondcats" release (use to play Boom//Bust in Modern.)
