Title: Somberwald vigilance
Post by: Dywolf on May 03, 2012, 01:24:52 PM
Just a little question
If I play {Somberwald vigilance }
And some block it
Does it do the 1 DMG before the dommage phase or after ?

Before the combat damage step. The ability triggers from blockers being declared so it pings them for 1. It also does not trigger for each creature blocking, just if it becomes blocked.

Edit: Woah nevermind! It does trigger per creature!

What's awesome is binding him to {nightshade peddler} because that 1 damage has deathtouch!

Not exactly bc I think deathtouch only applies to combat damage. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

3 minutes later, BJ comes in and uses his almighty "no" powers. Lmao

Damage is damage and death touch will work with that type of non-combat damage.

{prodigal pyromancer} + {basilisk collar} = good times 👍

It deals one damage to each creature blocking it, and yes it is super-smash with Deathtouch.

So {Somberwald vigilance} + { nightshade peddler} + { lure }is a nasty combo lol

So if the defenders die prior to damage step is he still blocked?

The attacker always remains blocked once a creature is declared blocking it.

Simmilar: goblin machine gun combo
{goblin sharpshooter} + {basilisk's collar}
