I bought this event deck recently, but I would like to improve it. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance. :)

1. This deck isn't standard. Would've hard to make it standard though, you only have a few Zen block cards. 2. I really wouldn't run infect. To me it's a little to slow. Ya it only take 10 poison counters but when your paying 2 for a 1/1 and I already have 2 1/1's it's not in your favor.

I'll play counterpoint from Karrthus's point. I love infect. Mono Black Infect has been consistenly been at the top tables.

First, I'd remove all the non-standard cards. Your pump could be replaced with something like {Ranger's Guile} or {Titanic Growth}. Your battlements could be replaced with maybe more infect or maybe {Avacyn's Pilgrim}.

I would probably put more Inkmoth Nexus if you have more money, but that's just a small observation.

Next update suggestion. Is it possible to make a way to play a game in the forum from the deck builder. Hands could be determine by the sample draw. Asking because Prophylaxis made me want to play him.

Legally, Piotr can't create an alternate way to play mtg without licensing.

The NFM event is standard, right? I've never joined a MTG event...

So, if I can't use umbras, what you guys suggest me? Walls? Counterspells? Artifacts???

I want to join the NFM event, but I don't want to be knocked out the first round....

You won't, FNM is played using swiss system so you will play 3-4 rounds normally, same as the winner.

{Wall of tanglecord} is good. 0/6 I believe, tap green it gains reach and costs 2 colorless others might be wall of vines amd a few naturalize in the sideboard just in case. Another way is to splash black for {doomblade} and {go for the throat}

Greg is right.  Thr best way to protect your creatures is to kill all threats. Check out my deck in casual called kill creatures if you want to find sone good spells.
Ps give me any tips you have whie you are there.
