Here's something fun in Red Standard. Kill any opponent, no matter what their life total:
{Malignus} + {Fling} + {Reverberate} (or similar) or {Curse of Bloodletting}
Majestic Jester makes fools of kings!
Im working on a malignus combo deck and this will fit right in!
That sounds amazing. I just have to make my RDW last till turn six. :(
{Battle Hymn}

{Infernal Plunge} may help speed things up, especially with {Priest of Urabrask}.

Turn four win!! Turn three a priest, adding the three mana, use one on an infernal plunge, sacking the priest, five mana floating into the malignus!!

On second thought, how would reverberate work? If you copied it, wouldn't you have to sac another creature?

This is the question every RDW player hears every FNM. The sac is required to CAST the spell (like {goblin grenade}). The {reverberate} copies the spell itself.
But yet they never ask wouldn't you have to pay the mana for fling again?
{geosurge} can help.
If malignus' P/T are equal to half their life, rounded up, why reverberate? Lol nm, just answered my own question.

Normaly rdw kills or gets destroyed before then.
Wouldn't the first fling not have a target after it is sacrificed to the copied fling?

The sacrifice cost doesn't target {Malignus}
I'm a little confused by this.I thought if you {Fling} 'd a creature it was dead, even if you copied the spell with, say, {Increasing Vengence}? the second fling would have to use another target, right?

Yes the creature would be dead, but copying a spell means you don't have to pay the costs again. Same with copying an X spell like {Bonfire of the Damned}. Once X is chosen and paid for, that info gets copied.
