I don't disagree that using white is possibly better, I just like playing rogue decks to keep my opponent guessing. Also using red gives me {faithless looting} to put {blightsteel colossus} back in my deck. I've ran this deck twice now, once before innistrad where I finished in the top 8 and once after innistrad where I went 2 and 3 due to not having {faithless looting} in my deck. I would like to keep u/r for this fnm just because I love blasting one drops off the field especially against my buddy's naya pod deck. {tezzeret's gambit} was an opponents suggestion to combine {chandra, the fire brand} with for double proliferate to add two poison counters draw cards and get back my two counters for my planeswalker. Any other ideas that keep it u/r?
I think a U/W version is better. Using {blade Splicer} and {wing Splicer} for artifact sac'ing for {shape anew}. Plus you can use {oblivion ring} or {revoke existence} to get rid of other peoples o-rings. Change out {Tezzeret's gambit} for {amass the components} that way if you draw a {blightsteel colossus} you can put it back in your library.

Quote from: Sagemaster on May 02, 2012, 12:45:17 PM{quicksilver amulet} won't work in this deck. The entire play is turn 1: land, one drop turn two: land and {blighted agent}, turn 3: land, attack with agent, {trinket Mage} for {darksteel relic}, turn 4: land, relic, {shape anew} the relic, flip blightsteel
Quicksilver amulet if it is in your hand? And dissipates, snapcasters?
