Here's some suggestions I have for the life counter on iOS. I'd love to see any/all of these implemented...
1. Rotate the customizable -X buttons when the rotate button is selected. This lets the other player subtract their own life
2. Add an option to color the individual sides. It looks nice and gives an easy visual breakup of the sides
3. Turn the -life buttons into actual buttons instead of just text
4. Clarify what the "$" button does...
5. In portrait view, place the two counters on top of each other, not side-by-side
6. Make the life score much larger
7. Provide an identifying icon for the poison counter
8. Provide an option to hide the poison counter via the center wheel
9. Provide much larger text (or even a nice graphic) for the dice roll
10. Provide a way to show 4 scores on the same screen when using THG and such
Ah, I just figured out the "$" is a coin flip... maybe use an icon of a coin instead? Failing that, perhaps the ยข symbol... Also, it'd be more clear if it read "Heads" and "Tails" instead of "is high" and "is low".
Why not just wrap that up with the dice feature, and add a 20-sided die while we're at it? :)
Another thought... let me change the default names so it's not just "The One" and "The Two", et al.
3. Why? ;)
10. THG has shared life so we do not want 2 life counters per team.
In answer to 3, for clarity in the UI, and as a matter of good design practice: clearly indicate interactables. It's an opinion, but a justified one.
In regards to 10, oops. I thought there was some compelling case for having a 4x4 counter... Maybe in a different mode? Disregard that, then. :)

The concept of bordered buttons was abandoned by Apple in iOS 7. iMtG for Android is dead, I'm really sorry to say this. Perhaps it could be lichified in the future, we shall see. What I'm really saying is that if you see text which is coloured like a hypertext link but does not function then it should be reported as a bug.
Will you be staying with us for longer? I'm sure Reezel would not mind your company on the TestFlight platform ;)
One case for having a 4x4 counter would be to have 3 friends. Is it compelling? ;]

Am I the only one still out there?

That's a fair point that e.g. Mail.app doesn't use buttons for interactables like the breadcrumbs. On the other hand, the buttons for the swipe actions are colored boxes. :)
From a general design perspective, I like the app "Life Total", which employs some of the above concepts, though perhaps in a too-flashy way.
Yes, having the 4 players per screen would be nice with three friends; I'm trying to get a few people to start playing, and I only just started playing myself :)
I saw your post about the beta. I'll send you a PM.

No but you seem to be about the only one with enough care left to give me feedback so the app can improve ;)

No, technically you are talking about backgrounds. Swipe actions under table cells are little pages of text with coloured backgrounds.
1. Should be added by 5.30.0
