What are people looking at for their EDH decks within the new conspiracy set? I personally like the goad effect.

I like that you're the Monarch stuff. It's none of your opponents play anything with it. You could just read the cards as "Do what the card says + draw an extra card from now on.

Well don't forget... Doing combat damage to the monarch makes you the monarch (probably explains why the extra draw is at end of turn so that becoming monarch isn't a waste of time and attacks)
Oh right I forgot about that.
I thought the mechanics from conspiracy like monarch don't carry over to EDH?

Kinda. You can't play with the conspiracies, but
you can play the draft related cards, they just won't have the draft effects. So {Archdemon of Paliano} is a 5/4 flyer for {2}{B}{B}
Edit: Uh. The is card not linking right. It's supposed to be the Demon that makes you draft blind for three turns
Monarch mechanic sounds bawler as hell. Really dig it and the .politics. that'll come with it.

All cards minus Conspiracies are legal in Casual, Vintage, Legacy and EDH. Some cards just literally don't do anything because they affect a draft.
Not going to lie, monarch allows me to play my Boros deck with card draw now. Just throwing in throne of the the high city and some of the other cards that "make you the monarch" really pays off when I had little to none. It gives me reason to go Aggro too if I lose it.
