Title: Just like I feared
Post by: Imdowd80 on April 30, 2012, 02:01:02 AM
People are already complaining about people cheating with the miracle cards.
I sw it happen a couple of times at my prerelease.
The only way I see this getting fixed is, when you draw you have to play it before you put in with your other cards.

Its the same exact thing as delver

people will get used to it. Not a huge thing that people are messing it up the first 2 days yøū can play with them.

If they wanted you to play it as soon as you draw it, it would say so.

You know what's worse, is when people shuffle their hand 9 million times. Drives me up the wall. It's ok to put your hand down, the cards aren't going to disappear. You don't increase your odds in winning by do that.

#facepalm

This is actually the official ruling.  by the time you put it in your hand, you've missed the trigger to play it for the miracle.

^It's true they have to keep it in the hand they draw it with, which must be opposite the hand they hold their "hand" with

As soon as its added, to late.

Additionally none of the miracles I saw are instants? So it's kinda screwy if they don't activate It right away.

However if you use other cards to draw on your opponents turn "think twice" and the like you can miracle the first card you play on their turn also

There should be no way to cheat if you're playing the correct way once it touches your other cards no more miracle that's the way it works

On cockatrice I would suppose you look at the top card of your library before drawing it, if it's a miracle, put it on the stack from viewing rather than drawing it.

Why would they take two cards?

The green enchantment if you control a creature with highest power draw another card on your upkeep

I would set my hand down state I'm drawing my first card miracle it if I could then state I'm drawing my extra card for the enchantment

Actually, they were cheating. They didn't have any of those cards. They were just drawing to cards at once.

Not if you play the miracle cost. Do you mean mana cost or actual price ??? Because neither is that bad
