This deck looks frekin' cool. I've always wanted to build Modern Reanimator. Vengeance is just so nasty!
Yep! I got a bunch of store credit for an online store and decided to go all in and buy the pieces I was missing to go for it! A buddy of ours runs a version of it without nourishing shoals and wurms which in my opinion isn't as good but it still wins turn 2 and 3.
T1 faithless looting throwing griselbrand in grave
T2 goryos vengeance griselbrand swing gain 7. Now draw 7 over and over again by using nourishing shoal and worldspine Wurm to keep your life up until you can get a borborygmos in the grave with a looting and spirit guide then use two more to manmorphose another goryos vengeance out to kill your opponent with all the land in hand.
It seems far fetched but it happens all the time when you're able to draw 28-42 cards in one go
Ive run a similar list. This looks like an improvement. I dig it.
The only thing I'm iffy on is the green. I want the natures claims for decks that run leyline of sanctity, but it's taxing on the mana. I took out 2 {temple of malice} for the overgrown tombs but the temples really help the set up.
I'm wondering if dropping worldspine wurm and nourishing shoul to add 4 angels grace and 4 emrakul would be a better plan.
Angel's grace doesn't work with griselbrand because it only prevent damage and not life lose from griselbrand
Tweaked the list and now it's super efficient
Played a little 12 man tourney 3rds cut to top 4 went 2-1
Rd 1 Jund fairly easy win
Rd 2 Esper Mill- loss, main board surgicals are hard to beat
Rd 3 Elves- simple win with sideboard pyroclasms.

Yah link I'm gonna throw two of them bad boys in the board and remove Inquisition of kozileks. I never bring them in and they're dead weight for me.
Update: this will be the list I run at a local PPTQ tomorrow. Wish me luck!
