I wonder why no  {Molten Rain}? He doesn't want the double red?

His mana base isn't efficient enough for it. Early game you rarely have double red.

That mana base sounds really dumb to me. I'd make room for more red to run {Molten Rain}.

Well, your deck is 65% green and 35% red and your green is your early game you have to take in consideration you're running blood moons. You want more basic forests than anything. You're non basics turn into mountains, but only when blood moon drops. Having RR1 in the early game over anything is redundant because you still need your creatures and interactions. So the mana base is actually pretty solid. It did go 11-4 at GPLA so something has to be right.

I mean, if the mana base was dumb one of the top players in the world wouldn't have ran it the way he did lol

In addition fetching and shocking twice is punishing for this deck when you're trying to go Midgame, you basically flat out lose to burn and affinity

I've just never been a fan of adding half colour fetches. It may work but it feels sub-optimal.
