Played the beta. Too much money for a better TF2, not much progression either...but I liked it.
I'm also enjoying it! However, I am not that good at it. Lol
I only paid the money because it was 40 bucks and everything they release will be free!
Team fortress was cool a long time ago
A bunch of guys in my federation are playing a ton of it. But I don't have the money. Plus from what I have seen it is just a shinier TF2
It'll be a bit more I depth with the addition of more modes and characters! I think the TF2 style is what they were aiming for not only is it shinier it brings the same intense gameplay that tf2 gave us! I'm thoroughly enjoy it!
Friend got it for me today. Been having fun as genji. I am very disappointed with the loot box system, as it seems to me the only way to get them is real money or leveling your account

Considering the contents of the box are purely cosmetics and coins they have to keep you playing some how

True, I guess I am just used to looking at my stuff in Herod of the storm and hearthstone where you can purchase packs(of cards) and stuff using currency from a daily quest system.
They will be adding more cosmetics in the future so maybe they'll tweak the loot boxes a bit
I think it would be interesting if they did something like, getting a gold medals for stuff like healing or takedowns. Gave like a Fragment. And once you had X fragments you could trade them for a loot box. Maybe limit the number of fragments to something like 1 per day.
Yeah a rewarding system would be neat but I'll wait to see how competitive mode and the rewards from it will differ from a standard loot box!
Spent the past few hours on with some federation members. Had a 5-6 man group the whole time. Actually having a cohesive team is pretty nice. We had some pretty great games. One where we staying in over time for about a minute trying to push the cart the last few meters. Another where we had the enemy unable to get on the point the whole game. We also had a really .poo. game where we where attacking a point which had 3 torbjorn, two bastions and shametra? The chick who makes turrets also.
Symetra* and yeah having a 6 man team makes a huge difference in this game! i love having a good team to communicate with!
The new Halloween content is awesome. First loot box got me the junkinstien skin. And the brawl is so much fun.
I finally got agent 76 Halloween skin, 5 lootbixes later :(
I currently have all the skins but mercy, 76, and rein
