I try not to think about these bad decisions. My story is that I started way back when with an intro box of unlimited on a band trip out of state and got hooked. At one point I even pulled a {tropical island} but I didn't like to play blue so I didn't play it. Fast forward a few yrs and I move out of state and didn't know anyone so I found a random person runnin a gas station and sold all my cards for $100. I stopped playin around when visions came out and picked it back up at innastrad. Believe me, it sucks when I look at the price of that card. Hardly played unlimited tropical island.

Jumping on the {Jeskai Ascendancy} wagon at about $8 a piece... Traded in {Goblin Rabblemaster} and {Mana Confluence} for them when they were spiking but hey.
Know a guy who pulled a {Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale} back when it was still $20. Sold it when it peaked at $40 because he thought it wouldn't go any higher.

Been on the wrong side of so many trades it's not even funny. It stings, for sure but you win some you lose some.

Yeah really do lose some. This thread is really depressing. How about we add positives and negatives to make this not so down.
I'll add another negative: not understanding why shock lands were good when I first got them and traded away most of them away at $5 apiece to a vendor.
Positive: my modern masters box my third pack was a karn and a foul goyf. The elation I felt after opening so many crap boxes.... That feeling was good. So good

Similar to prince up there, I didn't know about the value and use of of fetches. I was just giving them away when I started back in at around khans. I dumped at least 8 for cards I thought I liked and maybe some cash at the store before I noticed th value. I had a whole set of tempest and stronghold that I dumped off for like 100 each back in the day because when I was 11 that seemed like a lot of money
