Title: Foiling out a modern deck
Post by: Codester1991 on May 20, 2016, 09:26:54 AM
How many people have done this? I'm going to do this for my tokens deck I believe.

In your experience, what has been the most difficult thing about foiling out a deck?

Also any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated

The cost or the random jumps. I'm still 12 cards shy in my main board and 6 in my side.

I fouled out most of rg tron. Manabase gets absurdley spendy.

My advice is calculate out the price first, times that by 2 then see if you have that much trade fodder (unless you're paying cash) because it's hard to find someone who has spendy foils that wants something you have

And if you're paying cash, still price out the entire thing. It's more than you expect.

Yep, I priced it out and it's not absurd for me. I'm thinking of doing it piece by piece per paycheck lol
