Kaladesh releases 30 September 2016 and is debuting on PAX come September. Until then, we know it's the plane of invention, thopters, Chandra and a new Planeswalker, Saheeli Ray.
I'm thinking some thopter reprints coming up?
{hangarback Walker} rotates as this releases, so perfect time for a comeback.

Idk if many of you guys play Overwatch but the new planeswalker looks very similar to Symetra from Overwatch!

With walker rotating out on release of this set I highly doubt it will be reprinted in this or following set.
What do people think are good cards to buy now before kaladesh releases and why?

People speculate for me so I can make money.
Okay but seriously, at least come up with something on your own first. Specs should be shared, not leeched.
Off the top of my head, everything from Origins rotates. Other wise I'd say {Piran and Kiran Na'laar} and {Thopter Spy Network}. Perhaps affinity/Thopter sword pieces as a card might be printed that forms a hype train around them, then again might get a reprint. Maybe the one drop your equipment has flash and auto equip enchantment? Wizards has been pushing equipment for a while. Perfect time to seal the deal.
Hoping for a {Memnite} reprint.

See above. And equipment = artifacts.
Maybe I am wrong, that's why it's called speculation. Just what I'm thinking.
Any chance they may bring back some kind of affinity? Or maybe something that will become staple in affinity or maybe even tron?
I'd love this!

I'm thinking Rigger and contraptions will come with his set as Maro said that he's happy after pushing a mechanic for so long it's finally being made into something {steamflogger boss}
Didn't they already say they weren't doing contraptions this set ?

Having played the Pokemon TCG, not similar at all. Energy in Pokemon is more similar to mana on Magic.
If you attached mana to creatures so they could use abilities. And attacking was an ability...
Very different games.

So these other planeswalkers are standard legal? I'm confused as hell. I see 2 different Nissa and Chandra planeswalkers. All have the Kaladesh set symbol but the collector numbers are above Kaladesh. I.e. Chandra, Pyrogenius is 265/264

Never mind. Found my answer
"Here's how they're going to work. Each set will have two Planeswalker Decks, each built around a different Planeswalker. Those Planeswalkers will be characters relevant to that block. Each Planeswalker Deck will be a preconstructed 60-card deck and will be packaged with two booster packs from that block with an MSRP of $14.99. The Planeswalker Decks will be released in each of the eleven languages that Magic is published in.
The decks will play into mechanical themes of the block, most often making use of a new keyword mechanic. The default will be that the decks will be two-color even if the Planeswalker is monocolor. (Remember that a "default" means that's what we will do most of the time, but we reserve the right to change things up if we feel a particular Planeswalker Deck wants to be different.)
The other big difference about Planeswalker Decks is that there's going to be five cards in each that won't be found in the expansion, but that will be considered connected to that block for Standard legality (meaning Planeswalker Decks will be playable in Standard)."
Anyone happen to know the release date of said duel decks?
So let me get this straight, new $15 dollar "intro" decks that come with standard legal planeswakers found nowhere else.
That about sum it up?

I read they chose not to use the keyword because of the limited number of cards using the particular mechanic. So yea, we have cards that care about artifacts. But strictly not "metalcraft".
