Title: Dismiss into dream vs Moonsilver spear
Post by: Thanatos003 on May 16, 2016, 02:50:29 AM
When I attack with a creature equipped with Moonsilver spear while my opponent has Dismiss into dream active would I have to sacrifice the tokens despite the fact that they aren't technically being targeted by Moonsilver spear's effect while they are on the field?

Thank you. I was asking about the tokens though.

The spear doesn't target the tokens, so they stay.
Should the creature carrying the spear lose it, however, you cannot re-equip it, since that ability targets the creature.

Thank you. That was my thought but I wanted to be sure before I started arguing it should my friend get DiD on the field against my angel deck again.

You're welcome. We're always happy to fix rules arguments (I know I am).
