Saw this on mtggoldfish, bought it on mtgo cause it's super cheap. Doesn't win consistently, but it's so much fun.

So...how do you win?

Use either jar to kind of "flash" rise in, specifically on a turn where you can cast part the waterveil so you can untap with 15-25 2/2 zombies for the win. I'm thinking of putting that Sphinx of the last word or whatever card, as an alternate win con.

Sphinx Tutelage might help too

Was thinking that too, but I'm worried about powering delirium or delve for my opponent.

Delve is pretty much gone now that ktk and frf is gone. As for delirium most decks that have it will get it up and running rather quick, sure your tutelage might get it going sooner, but that can be avoided by just playing it alittle later in the game, once they already have it on their own.

Seems slow and fragile. Don't get me wrong I like it. A lot...maybe a mill subtheme. {Talent of the Telepath}, {Startled Awake} and {Manic Scribe} are decent. There's also an enchantment that slowly draws one at the same time.

I feel like {Disperse} is better than {Grip of the Roil} and should be swapped numerically accordingly. Unless you're dealing with enough high value ETB.

I think grip was chosen because of the draw one text.

Tfw pictures won't load and the draw a card text is over the picture so I don't read it.

Roil is good. Disregard my other post.

Seems like a perfect home for {thing in the ice}. Nothing but instants and sorceries. Unless it being a cheap deck, like you said, is the whole point.

I have two {thing in the ice} in the side. Peoples main argument for not is to make all the opponents removal useless. I personally like siding into back up win cons.

One of the writers on channelfireball (it was either LSV or PVDDR, I can't remember which) had a similar deck that splashes white that he nearly took to the pro tour. If you can find that article it gives you some pretty good ideas.

Yeah I believe it splashed white for narset and declaration in stone, both solid adds. And narset helps rebound spells if needed.

I was testing a similar list and found that you need counterspells or decleration of stone will ruin you.

Yeah after playing a fnm or two with this I've seen that movie need to at least splash to beat white humans (my meta is all w or w/g aggro). I'm thinking red with more counters and going the fevered visions/ tutelage mill side of it.
