Title: Tragic arrogance + hangarback walker
Post by: DirtyMustachio on April 19, 2016, 02:09:53 PM
Okay I've had some discussion about this and need to know so I can play smart

I have a {hangarback Walker}
And let's say {Ayli, eternal witness}

I play {tragic arrogance}

I know that I'm allowed to keep my own Walker if I so choose as my artifact

What I'd like to know is, what if I don't want to keep it

Can i choose Ayli as the creature I'm keeping and hangarback dies as a creature ?

As hanger is your only artifact it must be picked to be saved. You would need both another creature and another arifact.

Redwoof is right, you HAVE to pick an artifact if there is one available, so in this case the Hangerback can be your creature or your artifact, but either way its hanging around ;)

Woof woof!*

*double edged sword. Makes it easier to save the stuff, but also harder to kill stuff if they have more then one type.
