I understand these two are great together but where do you get the mana to keep this cycle going and going and going.
You don't care about the mana, unless you're going some strange UB Tezz route where you also play {Krark-Clan Ironworks}. You just do it as much as you need to and stomp out aggro and damage-based decks with your advantage, and murder planeswalkers and control players with your 1/1s.
Exactly it's more of a control finisher than a combo. It's the newer version of twin lol
Ahh I see. This'll be fun. Wonder if {Hurkyl's recall} will jump if it makes a decent presence in the format.
If your looking to infinite mana combo in casual use ashnods altar but in modern you can infinite turn combo with time sieve... But in modern with this comb you don't have to go infinite, it provides enough value without going infinite already
