Thoughts?
Kalitas and languish seems to be at odds with one another. As it kills him and any tokens he makes, yet languish can't kill somethings like {Reality Smasher} i would say swap the languish and planar outburst. A hard wipe seems better. And the languish in the sideboard can be used against decks more weak to it.
That's why I have unmaking for bigger stuff and a sideboard. Against 99% of cards languish will kill them. And if anything is on the board when I languish with Kalitas on the board all the better. They all get exiled. My creatures are all a distraction anyways, Sorin and Gideon are the finishers. But your point is valid to a point.
I was thinking tragic arrogance would be better than languish save your Kalitas and hangar back and good bye rest of your opponents board and hello zombies.
I'm pretty sure languish doesn't care about Kalitas, languish resolves the deaths resolves. Then the guys come in.
You keep the tokens if I'm not mistaken. Same with hangarback.
Both effects are caused by seeing something die.
Languish doesn't care about anything it can't see. It comes out does all creatures -4 -4 that it can see.
It resolves. The creatures that die die. The -4-4 lasts on only those creatures not the ones that come after the creatures death happen.
Unless for some reason you made them die in response
Yep that is correct.
Forgot about tragic. I will use that sideboard
