Title: Anacyn
Post by: redwolv on March 28, 2016, 03:43:50 PM
So the new avacyn if used as a commander can be filled. If flipped can she kill with commander damage as long as the 21 damage comes from one specfic side? Or can she only kill with commander damage in her starting(white) form?

Thanks. The only flip commander i have ever used before was chandra, and i knew once she flipped she didn't work because it wasn't combat but was not sure about a flipping creature.

Your explaination does bring up the question. If I do X combat damage with white avacyn and then she flips and do y combat damage. Will she kill when x+y>20 or only once Y>20.

How much damage has your opponent taken from your commander card?

Just like you take buffs, enchantment, equipment, etc. into account, it doesn't matter which side does damage.

I understand. Chandra was the same way. Her walker stuff didn't count cause it was noncombat.
