Title: lava.spike
Post by: Skullguy725 on February 22, 2016, 10:03:24 PM
Ok this has been bothering me for quite some time and I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but why is {lava spike} more than most printings of {lightning bolt}?? I know it's an arcane spell and has fewer reprints, but even so...

Only two prints, and I think arcane can be returned to hand, so reuse ability?

The only reason is lava spike has 2 prints while bolt has 1 billion prints

Supply and demand does a lot.

All the modern burn decks play it (same with {rift bolt}), but there simply isn't as many of them as there are of bolts. If bolt only had 2 printings, it'd surely be higher than {inquisition of kozilek}.
