Title: Is this even possible?
Post by: rarehuntertay on February 02, 2016, 06:00:07 PM
Let's say your played the card  {Shahrazad}. During your sub-game, can you cast  {Burning Wish} to retriever  {Shahrazad} from your main game and cast that to start another sub-game??

I just read up on old rulings on card in question, and if still true, convolutes the mind...
I may definitely need to pick one up and see if people will let me play it!

Since this one hasn't had a real answer yet, I'll add one.

Seeing as how {shahrazad} is only legal in a casual setting, this means the {burning wish} can get any card in your collection not IN the subgame. This means the {shahrazad} that is on the stack/resolving in the main game is a valid target. It is in your collection & not in the game.
You would start a new subgame, after which the losing players would lose half their life totals in the subgame you were running for the original Shahz."
