I'm new to edh and my friends and I have just started to learn it and enjoy it. I am wondering if this would make a good infect deck and if there is anything else I can do differently.

Firstly, welcome to EDH.

Secondly, I will say that not a whole lot of people will like to play against infect, as it is "frowned upon" but if your playgroup is cool with it and you're too, then go for it!

Some things to make the general better: {Buried Alive}, {Entomb}, {Death's Shadow}, {Phyrexian Dreadnought}, {Phyrexian Crusader}, {Varolz, the Scar Stripped}, and mainly other effects to get creatures into your graveyard/make opponents get creatures into their graveyard.

Well I have a friend that loves to play his infect deck against my hydra deck so that isn't a problem. We try to make as much cancer in our decks as possible. :P and I think those will actually fit in really well with this deck, get the creatures in the graveyard the scavenge and instant 10 counters and loss. Thanks! That actually really helped a lot.
