Just looking for some various cards that could help bolster my soldier deck! Any advice?

{Gustcloak Savior} does a lot of work in the Elspeth duel deck. Or {reconnaissance}, even better.
Swing with all. Pull back any unfavorable blocks any time. In the case of {reconnaissance} you can even respond to this that target an attacking creature, making a target illegal.

EDIT: sorry, both not modern legal...
