So I have estimated that I possess around 2700 basics, just slightly more than my sable horde, question is what to do with them?

Practice your card throwing skills till you can draw blood and become a vigilante.

Most bulk buyers do $8-$10 per 1000

Personally, I'd keep them. As an EDH player, you never know how much you need basics until you don't have any left to build that one deck you wanted to.

Yeah, what if you couldn't build your 201th EDH and had to swap basics between them ;)
Myself I am a hog too when it comes to magic cards, but 2700 is a lot of land.

What about with commons? Have any of you ever gone through and filtered down some of your bulky, way over-bought sets, and sold off commons? What's the rate for dem babies?
