Not to be rude, but  {Kytheon, Hero of Akros} just seems like such a better choice. Being able to give yourself indestructibility seems crucial.

Kytheon does protect himself, while still coming at 2 power for {W}. You just have to take care not to swing with over 3 creatures. Flipped he loses a lot of value for this deck.

It's not rude I'm asking for suggestions. Trying to plan on what stuff to get.

With only 7 creatures within the deck I don't think that will be hard to keep him as just a normal creature :P

The only thing that scares me is a t1 I cast. Then t0 my opponent  {Gut Shot}'s.

Cast some equip first, then cast him T4, when you can protect him.
And who in EDH runs {gut shot}? In a 100 card singleton you'd be better off running a sweeper in that slot..

@gutshot
I am a huge monored commander player and i have never considered it worthwhile. Even for a 1v1 sideboard card.

Is there a reason this dog is your commander over the card I previously mentioned?

Honestly i like the hound also rass. Plus even with the low creature count things happen and having to play for indestructable when you can just toss on an equipment? This deck wins from commander damage and while te hound has nothing special, it has nothing special. No weakness to worry about.

Thanks red. I was just bsing a little. I have attacked with a few creatures and if the card said "may or choose" then possible. But in the playgroup PW's are KoS where the hound is a vanilla 2/2.
