Title: A void as cryptic as reality itself
Post by: JordanCirk on December 13, 2015, 04:50:19 PM
I want to build the new kozilek coming out as best as I can. I feel like cards that allow you to keep your hand full (even if opponents too) is the best way. Any ideas? All suggestions welcome!

I bumped my Eldrazi list I made with the release of BFZ. I'm planning to update with Oath, changing commanders to Kozz2 and throwing in any Eldrazi that would improve it.
Draw power is just great, especially since the old Titans will recycle your graveyard.

{Temple Bell}, {Otherworld Atlas} and {Howling Mine} off the top of my head. Everything else is bad, like {Jaymede Tome} and {Tapestry of the Ages}. It does sound like a very cool deck though. I think {Library of Leng} could turn into a cool soft lock for commanders if you had reliable card draw...sounds like one of the best options.

{Tower of Fortunes} is decent card draw.

{Codex Shredder} with {Rings of Brighthearth} can go a long way towards establishing an engine of countering stuff.

If you build it right, 11 mana is turn 3 or 4 at the latest.

Also, you need like 11 mana to be able to start countering stuff...   that's alot of mana needed before you can bounce back from taking those first turns beats

{All is Dust}. Okay it's not reliable but there are ways. People also tend to leave you alone when you aren't doing anything.

Commanders that are known to explode once they hit the board or set up nasty combo's are often a reason to kill you before you start doing anything. Kozzi might just be threat enough sitting in the command zone, just like {purphoros God of the forge} is.

True. But they'll usually let you slide the first few games. xD
