I've been playing magic for about 2 years now. I recently started playing modern. I have a top tier burn deck built. I'm still not very good at understanding what decks are my weakness and what are my strengths. I'm sill pretty bad at this so I'm just trying to determine how my matchup will look against different decks, and which ones will shut me down if I don't side correctly for game 2. First things first, are you running mono-red?

Ok the biggest problem you will face is {leyline of sanctity}. This card wrecks burn so have cards in your board like {wear//tear} or if you splash green {destructive revelry}
{timely reinforcements} is also an enemy. Need sideboard {skullcrack} to prevent lifegain.

Well to be fair the only tier one burn deck is maya burn bc {Atarkas Command} breaks the deck. If you're just RW I'd highly suggest switching to RWG

Don't drop too early after losing a bunch, go and play and improve your play style
Run Naya Burn. It just took down the Denver Open and I saw it at a few tables, the deck is very good.
