Title: Tribal Instants?
Post by: DaxosReturned on November 11, 2015, 02:57:18 PM
What makes an instant, a tribal instant?

How are rules different for tribal instants?

{Blades of Velis Vel} for example, if cast with a few Allies on my side of the Battlefield... am I to assume that any "when another Ally enters the Battlefield" ability in my creatures trigger when my tribal instant is cast and put on the Stack?

Did I answer my own question?

The Stack is a different zone from the Battlefield, so casting a Tribal Ally spell won't trigger any of those dudes.

A Tribal Instant has a creature subtype - the only way for a spell to have a creature subtype is to be Tribal.

I sometimes wonder if he has time for sleep. So much output from him. All fascinating ... but wow. Drive for work, articles, interviews, conferences, twitter polls now... Dang.

+props to you, MaRo ;)
