Friend is building the new Ezuri and going to be a fast-paced infect route. Any tips/tricks?
C15 Ezuri: 2UG, 3/3. Get XP counter for creature entering with power up to 2, give a creature X +1/+1 counters at beginning of combat on your turn, X= your XP counters.
{sage of hours} seems like an auto include, even in U/G infect.
I've always loved {wild defiance}. Target with whatever, pump your creature. And it also works with opponent's instants.
Edit: Myriad + {altar of geth} / {Plaguemaw Beast} seems nice. And myriad + {corpse cur}

Wild defiance needs instances to do something, yeah, but in BG there are plenty of tricks and cantrips you'd want to include. Getting a +3/+3 boost on any instant seems nice. Could save you from sweepers too.

Very true! Was looking through some of my cards and actually found one in a box... Didn't realize it's like $4. I've seem to have 10-12 instants that target my infecters, so it's probably good enough for the slot.
Just idly browsing made me realize something else:
{deadeye navigator} + {cloud of faeries} will give you infinite experience counters, as would {intruder alarm} + {Retraction Helix} + 0-drops.

Also 90% of infect creatures have power that'd give you a nice experience counter.
Exactly why I think he's insane! The deck has performed pretty crazily. Even if my board is whipped, I drop a 2-3 mana infecter, next turn drop Ezuri giving the guy 4-5 +1/+1 counters and swinging for the kill!
Now on the other hand, I don't know if this version is better or worse than just playing rafiq, adding white, and getting that double damage. Thoughts?

Infect can swing with multiple, needing to connect 10 power. Rafik needs to strike himself, can only strike alone, and needs 11.
That, and getting more value from ramp creatures tells me: Ezuri wins out.
Did I already mention proliferate?
{thrummingbird} into an open opponent for an experience counter on yourself, -1/-1 counters on creatures, loyalty counters on planeswalkers if you'd want to, and a poison counter on any poisoned player. The value is real.
