Why would you want that there's no {Sakura Tribe-Elder} {Search for tomorrow} not to mention that {Scapeshift} is dbl green :P

If you were to build it if recommend something like just Mono Red control start with a {Skred} list and then add {G} sources (remember snow covered mountains still trigger valakunt

I was thinking along the lines of {Manamorphose} or something for the green splash.

The name definitely  contradicts itself
Moving to casual

If you would go that way, I'd say more {G} splash then just manamorphose. Plenty of dual mountain-forests around.
Still, no access to land tutor hurts I think.

Ya cinder glade is really good in the deck. There is a very legitimate (and highly competitive) RG Scapeshift with Prime Time and Scapeshift as the win cons and {Khalni Heart Expeditions}

Done it: made a mono-R, with only splash for {scapeshift}. Not a clue if it's playable in a competitive environment though.

MonoRed Scapeshift

60 cards, 0 sideboard

4 {Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle}
4 {Cinder Glade}
4 {Stomping Ground}
12 {Mountain}

24 lands

4 {Makindi Sliderunner}
4 {Tunneling Geopede}
4 {Cosi's Ravager}
4 {Plated Geopede}

16 creatures

4 {Wayfarer's Bauble}
4 {Scapeshift}
4 {Sword of the Animist}
4 {Expedition Map}
4 {Retreat to Valakut}

20 other spells

Sideboard

Seems so slow and with 4 valakunt and Scapeshift you don't need map

There's literally no reason to not play G.

Figured you might needing 2 {G} with only 8 sources. I suppose fetches could help with that, but I tried to max the amount of mountains, which I figured would be the reason to go mono-red. All in all, likely just a slow casual build as you said. Needs more ramp to be effective, returning you to the usual scapeshift build.
