Title: Travis Woo
Post by: Taysby on November 05, 2015, 12:44:53 AM
Got fired and disowned by channel fireball after saying the holocaust didn't happen. Later he sent out a post saying that he was uninformed and didn't actually mean it, he was trying to have a good debate.

Will you ever learn mr. Woo?

Sometimes it's a slipper slope to play devils advocate.

Moral of the story: stick to magic related conversations when you're streaming on behalf of a major content provider.

That's like the best comment I read about the entire issue. Karma well earned.

Maybe he did this on purpose to get away from cf without quitting.

But it's practically a {birds of paradise}!
(Except that it doesn't fly and needs to connect to produce mana)

Also, if you play it t1 and you connect t2, you will get a Mandork t3. So good!!!

Just avoid controversial conversations on a public forum that usually don't end well aka

Belittling WW2 and saying some really terrible racist remarks

Maybe he did this on purpose to get away from cf without quitting.

So instead of quitting he dropped his entire public persona in mud and filth so that he can leave CF and probably not be able to find another job easily with public interaction again? Na I think he didn't think what he wanted to say through and he was burned for it. With what he did no company will want to sign him for a while they don't want the PR hit

True. Say he does wanna quit. He announces, takes up 4 weeks of vacation time, and leaves.

His FB page still had people supporting him when I browsed to see what had happened, so he could start something on his own. It will forever taint him though. Don't mess with history or wars, people remember that.

Sometimes. People have contracts and if they break them then they owe some type of retribution. Now if the company breaks the contract they can go and do what they want. Also some people only care about mtg stuff and don't care about people's views just if they can build a deck or not. People will still follow him.

I agree people have those kind of contracts but now a company will think very hard before they hire him. He made his own life a lot harder in doing so. There will always be people who support him but the people don't sign your checks

Unless he is trying to start something up on his own.

Yeah but I heard you can't really get your hands on the Russian cards as easily... However there's an abundance of French ones
