The only time I ever play standard is when i open a lot of cards and can easily play a home brew. I played {Soulflayer}/{Chromanticore} when I opened 3 souldflayers and got a fourth one from a friend lol
I am a huge fan of standard, i like the constant change of the format, but only when i can aford the changing. Right now i can't, so i am taking a break from it till the fetches die this spring.

Pretty fun budget decks can be made with Zada & Lifelink. Ended up dropping about 30€ for my version. It CAN be mean, but most of the time will suffer vs more expensive decks.
Still caused enough surprise and question marks.
