Title: Zada, Hedron Grinder
Post by: Noblellama on October 20, 2015, 04:22:39 PM
Does {Zada, Hedron Grinder} do what I think she does in my heroic deck????

Target Zada, let {Labyrinth Champion} and {Fabled Hero} reap the benefits???

Or does the wording of heroic (cast) vs Zada's (copy) make it not work?

It will not. There is a specfic ruling about this for heroic, will try an find it.

Edit: can't find the source but its on every card on gatherer with heroic.

The copies that Zada make are not cast, thus they do not trigger things like Heroic or Prowess.

"The copies that the ability creates are created on the stack, so they're not cast. Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell (like Zada's ability itself) won't trigger."

This makes me sad, good ruling, but sad outcome

Zada would be SUPER broken if that were the case. We'd have Zada Prowess decks everywhere.
