{Tajic, Blade of the Legion} is very underrated in my opinion. He can be an insane beat stick and all you have to do is equip him with some swords and swing with some tokens to threaten lethal. Plus you can do a whole human/soldier tribal theme if you'd like!
From the new set specifically {Zada, Hedron Grinder} and {Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper} are both very good and easy to build for.
A very funny comboish deck is {Norin the Wary} with ETB triggers and it's extremely funny to watch and when it works it's awesome.
And because allies are a thing 5c allies can be really good. I really like using {Cromat} or {Karona, False God} for that one.
