{Misthollow Griffin} is the worst mythic.
I personally believe my copy of {Archangel's Light}. from DKA is worse. 4cmc for 3/3 flyer that is potentially re-castable seems more playable than a high cost semi-unreliable lifegain spell. Both should not have Mythic in its rarity status.

I agree totally (but there is a reason why it's crappy), however, of we were just talking about AVR not just the whole block...

100% The game of Magic is ever changing, but I don't like that there is now a way back from exile. The original way it was written was 'remove it from the game' but now exile is Graveyard 2.

I agree i dont like the return from exile thing but besides that i think this card is rare worthy at the most. I mean. It doesnt fill any other function other than a 3/3 flier that can be cast when exiled for 4cmc.
I cant think of anywhere where this would be useful really.
He is good with {gloom surgeon} and {force of will} or against {path to exile} and other exile cards.
I see where they're coming from though. It's called exile for a reason. There shouldn't be a way to bring back a card that easily. I'm relieved it's the only card like that but it worries me they may start printing more cards with that because one now exists.
It should be rare. However, there may be value in returning a creature from exile, while 4cmc is a lot, it's not back breaking.
We are just players I do not think it is our job to decide what should or should not be allowed within the confines of the game. Sure we can critique and what not but I think WotC does a good job of providing a yin to every yang.... if you will. My point is that they design things to be countered.....so if you destroy my creature then I reanimate it or if you take away my life I can gain life or if you mill me then I will reshuffle my GY into my library or if you play too much from your GY then I play {graffdiggers cage} or if you counter my creatures I use {cavern of the souls} and finally if you keep {swords to plowshares} my damn creatures then I will swarm you with {misthollow griffins} :)
White has it too easy with removals like {swords to plowshares} and {path to exile} so I am glad to see this card.....only wish it was a black card :(
Yeah, perhaps since its a new ability WotC weighted it too heavily. They also undervalue exile abilities. This could be a good card against {fiend hunter} or {oblivion ring}, as it clearly isn't a target...maybe even redirect to him on purpose?
{swords to plowshares} would result in chain exiling it, it's more a draft mythic with slight utility as a casual card
Also, I've seen {archangel's light} work in a modified "Grave Power" intro deck, uses birds for the single white mana and current ramp. It was rediculous, self milling and then turbo life gain
Its not our place to decide just our place to judge and have opinions. But my point is: 3/3 flyer that can be cast from exile, what reason does it have to be mythic rare? If its suppose to give sone protection against exile i understand. Its not OP.
But in my opinion, worst mythic out there.
First card to ever with the capability to cast from exile that's why it's mythic. Nuff said
Oh boy it's yugioh all over again

I see your point! I can understand why its mythic. Still its pretty lousy for a mythic.
That white enchantment keeps the crown though :P
Looks like theyre experimenting with the game some more and I like it, though I do think they should leave the exiled zone alone. But if enough people speak up about it, I'm sure they'll let the idea trail off. After all, you don't see much of Banding or Horsemanship anymore, do you?
Atleast its not op
{Emrakul back from exile!} 11
Affinity for permanents 2 Emrakul back from exile cost 2 less to cast for each permanent you control
9000</9000< trample indestructible ahnililator x where x is the number of permanets defending player controls.
Emrakul back from exile! Can be cast from exile
Also {Squadron griffin} = {Misthollow griffin} + {Surgical extraction}

I disagree. As magic players, part of the game is all about judging cards. We have to decide which cards are worth using, in which conditions, etc. But, I do think it's important to keep in mind that just because the card wasn't made for you, there may be other people who have a use for it.
Frankly, I'll happily play a 3/3 flier for 2UU in a Limited environment. It's no {Dungeon Geist}s, but the card is a puzzle piece that I would love to use in my bag o' tricks.
I also think that by putting this a Mystic is a way of saying "We're not going to do this very often, so here's your one."
Pair this guy with {Seance}, {Back From the Brink}, blah blah, blah
tl;dr
Trade your copies to me.

No no no dont get me wrong! To rephrase, We dont decide on cards bu we damn sure get to have opinions on them*
We dont decide. We just judge. Is what i meant when i wrote that.
Dont know how it came out.
{Nevermore}

I personally think that the griffin is amazing!! I like that it evades exile stuff like o ring
I think it is cool card. Of course not all mythics are gonna be moon sages. ;)
What about those blue cards you have to exile two creatures from your gy to cast he would fit in great in those decks
{Misthollow Griffin}, ode'ed.
