I went totally out of my comfort zone and made storm. Looking forward to playing at fnm.

Let me know how that goes for you. I only play 16 land in my storm deck, and the extra spell at the moment is a singleton {peer through depths}. Been considering dropping it for the extra land but never pulled the trigger.

May I ask the reasoning for shivan reefs?

Its so difficult to keep track of all the triggers on Ascension, the storm count, and all the mana. What's the best way to keep track of it all?

Do you have a sideboard? I actually know quite a bit about storm Sideboarding and may be able to offer help.

Wait woah woah hold on? Am I missing something or are you not playing goblin electromancer? If I'm not missing something get those faithless looting a out of here and run 4 electromancer

My meta has burn, jund, grixis and a lot of other decks with a fair amount of spot removal. I would rather not play them.

Sideboard is run of the mill storm sideboard. Blood moons, bolts, warrens and the like.

This is really hard to do and I wouldnt recommend it. Twin runs 22 land generally and sometimes that doesnt seem like quite enough. Plus twin can win without the combo, so much that it often gets sided out. If you turn storm into twin it is literally your only win condition, with little to no protection for it. If you want to play twin that badly just play twin

I completely missed that! Not trying to rain on your parade but I think not playing electromancer is a mistake regardless of the meta. That is the card that enables you to win before you die. It lets you cast more spells per turn and helps turn ascension on quicker. And if it gets bolted, well thats a bolt that you arent taking, usually amounting to giving you an extra turn. Not to mention you just sometimes need a chump blocker. It is part of the core engine of the deck. But if you make it work without it, I would love to hear about it.

If I was walking into an 8 man with storm and I knew all 7 other people were playing jund, I might put some thought into playing 3 electromancers. But probably not.
