Title: Indestructable? Really?
Post by: TheHalfLizard on November 09, 2011, 12:26:42 PM
Can an indestructable creature be destroyed by stacking -1/-1 counters on it? Is there another way to get rid of said creature apart from:
Exhile/Remove from play,
Force its controller to sacrifice,
Bounce it back to is owners hand,
Force its controller to discard it?

Thanks for any help in advance. God I hate Darksteel.

I think if you add Counter it before it hits play, making it lose indestructible and killing the player controlling it, you've just compiled a list of what you can do.

Stealing it is a good option too, but it doesn't get rid of them.

Btw it doesn't need to be -1/-1 counters. Any means of making its toughness zero will do.

Yes, u can get rid of indestructible if u lower its toughness under or equal to 0. U can also make it not untap with {Claustrophobia} or something alike

There are lots of ways of dealing wih it without killing it. Take {Pacifism} for example.

I'm thinking the card in question is probably {Darksteel Colossus}, or his progeny {Blightsteel Colossus}.  AMIRITE?  ;)
