Blame the guys that where doing their thing in the rules forum.
I took pretty much all ideas, added mana fixing and {doubling season} to get the {Beastmaster ascension} online as soon as you hit 5 enchantments. (Or kill with {noble heirarch}, lots of fun too ;) )
Actually had it go off with 2 seasons, 2 Nyx's and one ascension I drew as fifth. Still, that's 4 10/10 enchantments coming for you.
It's pretty explosive and fun, even though I have yet only tested vs a casual infinite planeswalker build.

What would the land base be for a wallet healthy alternative?
Just out of curiosity
Good question.
Fetches instead of duals would mean a big cut budget-wise. However, with the lairs, shocking could prove to become too costly life-wise.
Check-lands could be an alternative.
So: {tundra} -> {hallowed fountain}
{tropical island} -> {hinterland harbor}.
Even more budget option could be pain lands.
{Yavimaya coast} & {adarkar wastes}.
EDIT: when looking at the pain lands alternative better, it could work. About 3/4 of the mana costs is colorless, so no pain.
92 generic, 15 {U}, 12 {G}, 12 {W} in the entire deck, and {obelisk of bant} and the tri-lands can take a portion of that.
Edit2: when looking more towards budget, 4 nobles is about $140,- as well. While he can be a wincon on his own when you copy him loads of time, in a pinch {temple of enlightenment} & {temple of mystery} could supplant Noble, bringing up the land count to 24.
The last budget replacement would be {doubling season}. That effect is harder to get an alternative for, since ascension works with "quest counters". {gilder bairn} could do it's job, but I think I would like something to tap it down with. If there are 3 counters or live ascensions, attacking is no problem, but I feel like {spring leaf drum} could help.
I'll post the budget list I came up with.
